Om du inte gillar breda rimmar är det i första hand denna egenskap du ska kolla in. Välj helst inte mer än, säg 19-20mm. Man kan säga att gränsen går lite mellan fairway och distance driver.

flightratings: Discens flygegenskaper beskrivs utifrån 4 termer: fart, glid, turn, fade.
turn: Discens benägenhet att vika höger i början av flygbanan (vänster för vänsterhänt backhand).
fade: Discens benägenet att falla vänster när farten minskar (höger för högerhänt backhand).
överstabil: Disc med liten turn och/eller mycket fade, dvs en vänstergående disc (höger för vänsterhänt).

RHBH: Right Hand Backhand Throw

A prototype version of the first midrange in the Simon Line, the Prototype Simon Line Balance is exclusively available in 2024’s GYROpalooza box! Intended to be a midpoint between the Reactor and Pyro, the prototype run wound up having a more overstable flight than we’d hoped. To get that ideal flight, the decision was made to go back to the drawing board and fully retool the mold for its eventual stock release.

However, the prototypes are perfectly excellent discs on their own and we’re releasing them in the GYROpalooza boxes as a truly unique item! Featuring art by Matthew Jorde, grab your own and follow along with the process of going from Prototype to final release!

The next disc in the Simon Line is primed for its stock release – the Neutron Balance! For those following the development process of this disc, you’ll know there have been three Prototypes released for the Balance, each with minor differences in stability. This allowed Simon to try multiple options and pick the version he prefers most (v2) to go into full production while giving you all a peek behind the curtain of the process. Settling in with flight numbers of 5 | 5 | 0 | 2, the Balance falls between the MVP Reactor and Axiom Pyro – overstable enough for torque resistance, wind-fighting, and a reliable, consistent flight – while still having the flexibility of a midrange for shot shaping. High-power players will have a versatile, straight flier with a dependable bite of fade towards the end, while those with less power will find the perfect overstable wind-fighting complement to their midrange lineup. The Balance joins the Pixel and Time-Lapse as part of the Simon Line – curated by Simon Lizotte himself.
